🎬 Saint Petersburg Builds Unified Film Ecosystem
A cooperation agreement between leading film companies and specialized universities has been signed at the RGISI Academic Theater.
General producer of Triiks Media Inessa Yurchenko initiated the partnership to preserve the legendary Leningrad film school’s traditions.
Participants include studios Lenfilm and Landok, media holding ON Media, and major institutions — RGISI, SPbGIKiT, and the Academy of Talents.
Key work areas:
- Talent pipeline: System to identify gifted high schoolers, support university admissions, and guarantee job placement.
- Real-world practice: Students gain internships on live partner projects, mastering full production cycles from concept to final edit.
- Cultural preservation: Joint festivals, fiction and documentary film production, plus free screenings and nonprofit theatrical runs at city venues.
This platform will solidify Petersburg’s status as a “film capital” while building a talent pool trained in classical traditions and modern technologies.
