🎼 Eurovision Is Becoming “Asiavision”
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has confirmed the launch of the Eurovision Song Contest Asia. The debut show is set to take place on November 14, 2026, with sunny Bangkok выбран as the host city.
So far, broadcasters from 10 countries have confirmed participation, including South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Nepal. Organizers promise to preserve the spirit of the classic contest while adapting it to the unique cultural energy of the Asian region. The grand final will be the culmination of national selection rounds held in participating countries throughout the year.
The launch is timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the original Eurovision. Thai authorities are confident that the event will strengthen Bangkok’s status as a global hub for music and innovation, where tradition meets modern rhythms.
