🛫 The Russian Online Advertising Market Is Accelerating

According to AdIndex rankings, the digital segment in 2025 grew 1.5 times faster than the year before. The growth rate of online advertising revenue reached 38% (compared to 23% in 2024).

This is one of the highest figures in the past 10 years, surpassed only by the record highs of 2018 and 2023.

The Sber ecosystem has held first place for the fifth consecutive year. The holding’s spending on online promotion increased by 46%, while the flagship banking brand’s budgets more than doubled.

Alfa-Bank showed the most aggressive growth in its sector, moving up from 22nd to 7th place in the ranking.

Major bookmakers and retailers simultaneously reduced their online activity, mirroring the trend seen in their placements across other media channels.

It is important to note that the AdIndex assessment focuses on traditional formats (banners, video, search, social media) and does not include Telegram, special projects, or influencer marketing—highlighting that even within the “core” segment, the market demonstrates exceptional resilience.
