🎦 Mario and Gosling divide the world

In mid-April 2026, the global box office has transformed into a battleground for two giants: the Mario sequel and the space drama "Project Hail Mary."

While the plumbers from the Mushroom Kingdom storm animation records, Ryan Gosling is proving that intellectual science fiction is capable of grossing hundreds of millions of dollars.

In Poland, the film delivered the biggest opening in history for a Hollywood title ($2.6 million). Total earnings have reached $37.5 million in the UK, $29.2 million in Germany, and $24 million in France.

The film is guaranteed to surpass the $700 million mark next week, with premieres in Japan (April 24) and South Korea (April 29) still to come.

“Project Hail Mary”: Amazon’s cosmic triumph
