❌ GPM Dissolves "Friday!" Production Unit

Gazprom-Media Holding has finalized the closure of one of its production assets. According to data from the Federal Tax Service, Third Studio LLC—an in-house production unit launched by the Friday! TV channel in late 2023—was officially liquidated in March 2026.

At its inception, Third Studio was intended to produce content not only for its parent channel but for the holding’s entire ecosystem, with potential clients including TNT, TV-3, and the streaming platform Premier.

During its nearly three-year tenure, the studio managed to bring two notable television projects to fruition:

  • The series Chef, developed specifically for the Friday! broadcast schedule.
  • The sketch comedy show Second Marriage, which aired on TNT.

The decision to liquidate the company is attributed to a sharp decline in financial performance. Data from the Rusprofile portal indicates a rapid drop in production efficiency following its first year of operation.

While the company ended 2024 with a revenue of 508.2 million RUB and a net profit of 10.4 million RUB, the situation became critical by the end of 2025. Revenue plummeted more than twentyfold to 24.5 million RUB, resulting in a net loss of 85.5 million RUB.

At the time of closure, the legal entity remained solely owned by the Friday! TV Company. Representatives of the holding have not yet commented on whether the studio’s ongoing developments will be transferred to other production facilities within the group.
