🎭 2026 BAFTA TV Awards: The Results Are In
British television’s biggest night took place at London's Royal Festival Hall for the annual BAFTA TV Awards. It was a historic evening for Stephen Graham and the team behind Adolescence; the Netflix hit made a clean sweep, taking home four masks in a single night—a first for the project.
The night’s biggest headline was Stephen Graham winning Best Actor. Despite being considered a national treasure, this was Graham’s eighth nomination across film and TV, and his first-ever win.
Adolescence, co-created by Graham and Jack Thorne, has already cemented its legacy as the second most-watched English-language show in Netflix history. In addition to the leading actor prize, the show won Best Limited Drama, while Owen Cooper and Christine Tremarco secured wins in the supporting categories. The project’s BAFTA success follows previous triumphs at the Emmys and Golden Globes, as well as two wins at the BAFTA TV Craft Awards.
In the comedy categories, Steve Coogan took home Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme for How Are You? It’s Alan (Partridge), a win that many industry insiders had predicted.
Apple TV+ continued its global expansion as The Studio was named Best International Programme. Accepting the award, Seth Rogen dedicated the win to his co-star, Catherine O’Hara.
In the entertainment and reality segments, the BBC’s Celebrity Traitors and Prime Video’s Last One Laughing emerged as leaders, each picking up multiple trophies.
The night’s most prestigious honor, the BAFTA Fellowship, was awarded to the legendary broadcaster and culinary icon Mary Berry.
