💃 The 3rd Moscow Cinema Week Sweeps Across the Capital

From August 24 to 30, as part of the "Summer in Moscow" initiative, the 3rd Moscow International Cinema Week is underway.

This large-scale industry event spans dozens of venues across the city, including the Moskino Cinema Park and Moskino Studios, the historic Khudozhestvenny Cinema, and mobile cinema trucks. Film industry professionals from 22 countries are taking part in this year’s events, with the centerpiece being a business program at the Moskino Studios featuring around 200 Russian and international experts.

Key topics driving expert discussions include international co-productions, content export, the evolution of national streaming platforms, and the integration of artificial intelligence to streamline filmmaking processes and lower production costs. Special focus is also being placed on transforming traditional movie theaters into multifunctional cultural hubs, as well as leveraging Moscow’s growing filming infrastructure.

As part of the business program, open interviews are being held with international stars, including Christopher Lambert, Dolph Lundgren, and Mithun Chakraborty. Meanwhile, Russian actors Darya Moroz, Nikita Kologrivyy, and Leon Kemstach are joining the professional community to discuss the nuances of casting and launching a career in the industry.
