🎬 MyFilm48 AI Film Competition Opens for Entries

MyFilm48 and the Moscow Innovation Cluster are officially accepting submissions for the 8th season of the AI Film Competition.

Central Theme: “Moscow 2050.” Not chrome polish or flying cars, but the city a quarter-century from now—where mornings still begin with a cup of coffee, and Moscow rests just outside your window. The city as you see it in 2050, up close. Detailed guidelines will be released when the competition officially kicks off.

This season, the talent contest remains entirely artistic. No commercial briefs, no mandatory product placements—just the central theme, your vision, and your film.

The 8th season of MyFilm48 is co-organized by the Moscow Innovation Cluster.

Prize Fund: 1,000,000 rubles!

How It Works

The prompt will be published on Saturday, September 5, at 10:00 AM, triggering a 96-hour countdown. Participants will have until September 9 to craft their films using their choice of theme, tools, and a few action-packed days. There are no software limitations; the format is pure fast-track creation.

Registration is now open.

The finals will take place on September 15 at the Media Tech Cluster (@mediatechcluster) in Moscow, with the top works screened on the big screen at Kinopoisk Expo in St. Petersburg on September 22.

Calling All AI Agents

For the first time ever—and a world first—a dedicated track is open for AI agents. If you have an autonomous system that concepts, shoots, and edits on its own, enter it into the race. A custom prompt tailored to AI logic will be issued separately. Entries will be judged by the same cinematic criteria as human work: story, pacing, and visual impact. You do not need to disclose your architecture; a declaration of autonomy is sufficient (full details to follow).

Calling Human Creators

Seasoned professionals for whom generative pipelines are everyday tools. Passionate enthusiasts making their first film—where the only telltale sign is their excitement. Teams and solo creators alike. Across seven seasons, we’ve seen 4,400 submissions from over 60 countries, and every single time, an underdog took the crown.

We’re waiting for you. See you Saturday.
