Hollywood releases Spider-Man: A New Day and The Odyssey remain the primary drivers of the pirated segment, even as the grey market’s overall volume contracted by 52.6% week-over-week.

Summer holdovers and family franchises continue to lead the official, legal segment:

• Luntik: The Dark Side of the Moon dropped 43% in its second weekend, earning 53.1 million rubles. The animated sequel’s cumulative gross reached 182 million rubles (484,000 viewers), making it the most successful domestic animated film of the year and surpassing Three Heroes: No Day Without a Feat 3 (163 million rubles).
• The Last Warrior: Kolobok is steadily approaching a major milestone: after five weeks in release, total box office for Anton Maslov’s film hit 971 million rubles. The project climbed to sixth place among the highest-grossing Russian releases of 2026.
• Kikoriki Across the Universes crossed the 300 million ruble mark, bringing its cumulative total to 307 million rubles.

Among foreign releases and genre newcomers, the Jason Statham action vehicle Mutiny held the lead with 119 million rubles over two weekends. The Gal Gadot thriller Runner debuted in fifth place with 21.3 million rubles (37,000 viewers). In the arthouse category, the biographical drama Tony delivered strong results, taking 13.9 million rubles and recording the highest average seat occupancy in the Top 10. Meanwhile, the family sequel My Dad Is a Bear signaled declining interest in the franchise, opening to 16.4 million rubles—a 53.9% decrease compared to the original installment’s debut.
