In terms of ticket sales among domestic summer releases, the picture surpassed both Yaga Feeds the Monster and To Grandfather’s Village.

New releases launched into tight competition. The foreign comedy Coyote vs. Acme opened with 36.5 million rubles (74,000 admissions), beating the May fantasy title Up the Magic Tree, but falling short of the hybrid project Space Jam: A New Legacy (76.9 million rubles in 2021). Alexey Pimanov’s historical adventure feature Hunt for the Emperor debuted in fifth place, earning 22.1 million rubles (46,900 admissions). The film’s producer, Olga Pogodina, noted the fierce competition in the current lineup, pinning her hopes on strong word-of-mouth and an expanded promotional campaign.

Other notable results include:

• The South Korean sci-fi action film Hope by Na Hong-jin grossed 21 million rubles, marking the fourth-largest opening weekend in the history of its distributor, World Pictures;
• The animated feature Moonzy: The Other Side of the Moon added 29.8 million rubles (bringing its total to 221 million), though its earnings are dropping 25.4% faster than those of the original installment;
• The Jason Statham action thriller Mutiny pushed its total revenue to 147 million rubles, outpacing the final earnings of Greenland: Migration (141 million);
• The family release KikoRiki Across Universes reached 317 million rubles, posting the smallest drop in the top ten (-41.2%);
• The re-release of Twilight recorded a peak average attendance of 128 viewers per screening (grossing 10.2 million rubles across just 93 screenings).
