The IBC 2026 exhibition in Amsterdam has concluded with the announcement of the Best of Show Awards. An independent panel of expert judges evaluated the featured tech solutions based on four key criteria: level of innovation, feature set, cost-efficiency, and tangible value to the broadcast industry.

The awards highlighted major sector trends, with the industry placing a heavy emphasis on artificial intelligence, workflow automation, and advanced IP infrastructure.

Key IBC 2026 laureates include:

  • AI and Generative Content: Adobe demonstrated the trend with its Generative Media Tools in Premiere, Eluvio unveiled the Eluvio Global Broadcast Fabric unified video analytics and broadcast platform alongside the EVIE editor, and Vizrt earned recognition for its hybrid broadcasting system, the TriCaster Vizion AI/R.
  • Data Transmission and Infrastructure: Dejero introduced Dejero TITAN (Triple 5G), the world’s first mission-critical communication platform featuring triple-SIM support; AWS stood out with its Elemental MediaPackage Dynamic Multiview solution; and Evertz showcased the innovative ENX Liquid Cooled system.
  • Production and Monitoring: Avid updated the industry benchmark with Media Composer 2026.8, Clear-Com secured a win with the FreeSpeak Cell intercom system, while AJA Video Systems (FS8 processor) and Haivision (Makito ONE encoder) reaffirmed their leadership in signal processing and delivery.
  • Cameras and Optics: In the capture category, awards went to the compact DJI Osmo Pocket 4P, the ultra-miniature PROTON IS, the PTZOptics Rise 4K PTZ camera, and the fast, full-frame SIRUI Aurora 15mm F1.6 lens.
