👱♂️ White House Launches 24/7 "Trump TV" Channel
The U.S. presidential administration has announced the launch of its own information outlet, informally dubbed "Trump TV." The project’s debut was shared via White House social media, promising a 24/7 stream designed to cover the administration’s key activities in real time.
The channel is accessible on the White House’s official YouTube page and through a dedicated section in its mobile app. Its launch has sparked lively debate across the media industry and raised concerns over the establishment of state-controlled news broadcasting.
However, presidential spokesperson Kaelan Dorr clarified that “Trump TV” is not a traditional news broadcast, but rather an “unfiltered stream of the administration’s major achievements.” According to Dorr, the project aims to showcase current and archival material free from the editorial bias of third-party media, which the administration claims frequently distorts or overlooks the President’s successes. Notably, the stream kicked off with a broadcast of Donald Trump’s address at Mount Rushmore from two months ago.
The rollout comes amid a fresh escalation in tensions between the White House and mainstream media outlets. The administration previously revoked event access for journalists from three major organizations—CNN, MS NOW, and Politico—accusing them of spreading misinformation. In response, the media companies filed a joint lawsuit in federal court challenging the legality of the restrictions, while other major American networks announced a boycott of events featuring Trump in a show of solidarity with their colleagues.
