🏴☠️ Analysts have counted the pirates
F6 has released its rankings of the most popular film and TV titles among pirates for September 2026. The selection includes projects with the highest number of illicit copies on torrent trackers and shadow streaming services.
F6 analysts emphasize that the mere presence of a copy does not guarantee high viewership; however, it does reflect pirates’ efforts to meet strong audience demand for major new releases.
Topping the September film chart was the Apple TV+ action-comedy Mayday, starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh. Second place went to Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil, whose illicit copy leaked online during its wide theatrical run. Rounding out the top three was the long-delayed live-action/animated hybrid Coyote vs. Acme.
Notably, the top ten pirate inventory featured not only unavailable foreign blockbusters (such as the live-action Moana), but also films officially available on Russian streaming platforms. Among them were the French comedy Picked the Wrong Guy, the detective drama Maigret and the High Society Murder, and the sci-fi action film Time Trap.
The TV series ranking was led by the second season of Netflix’s crime drama The Gentlemen, which premiered in early September. The sci-fi series Silo took second place, while Okko’s crime thriller Kidnapping rounded out the top three. The top ten also saw several other domestic TV and streaming releases (Shepherd Dog, Fighter Pilots, Time to Hit the Factory) alongside global hits such as Reacher.
