🤺 Elon Musk attacks Netflix

Elon Musk has called for people to cancel Netflix for the sake of "their children's health". The reason cited was the animated show "Dead End: Paranormal Park" (canceled in 2023), which he claims promotes a non-traditional agenda.

Conservative activist Robby Starbuck also joined the boycott, stating that the company “hates white Americans.”

The show’s creator, Hamish Steele, responded to Musk’s call, describing his project as a “brilliant show about kind, wonderful characters.”

Netflix shares lost about 5% over the week amid the controversy, but financial experts do not anticipate a serious or long-lasting impact on the company. Analysts note that such an online boycott is unlikely to significantly affect subscriptions or the financial performance of the giant, which has a market capitalization of $490 billion.
