Daniel Domenjó, CEO of Movistar Plus+, raised the alarm over sports piracy, stating that 43% of football fans in Spain consume content illegally.
Domenjó warned that this practice, which has not been properly condemned, is threatening the “sports rights model.” If a solution isn’t found, viewers could face a reduction in sports offerings.
