๐Ÿ’ต TV panel prices expected to remain stable

According to analysts at TrendForce, the display market showed mixed trends in early October: prices for TV and monitor panels are maintaining stability, while the cost of notebook panels is expected to slightly decline.

Demand for TVs is slowing as the pre-holiday stocking season ends. Manufacturers in China plan to reduce capacity utilization (from over 80% to below 80% in October) during the holidays in hopes of stabilizing prices. As a result, prices for all sizes of TV panels will remain unchanged in October.

Demand for monitors has weakened, but manufacturers are unwilling to cut prices since many models (such as FHD) are already operating at a loss. Both buyers and sellers have agreed on stable prices for October.

Demand for notebook panels is also easing. Notebook manufacturers are actively pushing for price reductions. Most panel suppliers are willing to concede slightly to maintain relationships, and prices are expected to decline modestly.
