🤖 Tricolor launches Russia's first AI-generated sports program
The operator Tricolor has unveiled "Myach Novostnoy" (News Ball)—the first sports television program in Russia whose entire production cycle (from script to the presenter's video image) is implemented using Artificial Intelligence.
The new weekly format allows the “Myach” channel to create high-quality sports content quickly and economically. All work is performed by just two in-house specialists—an editor and an assembler—using AI tools.
The main feature is the virtual avatar presenter. The digital image is based on the appearance of a real Tricolor employee. The AI ensures realistic articulation, facial expressions, and synthesizes the voice, completely eliminating the need for studio filming.
“Artificial intelligence allows us to release news faster and more economically, maintaining high content quality and making it accessible to viewers across the country,” commented Marina Bogomolova, General Producer of Tricolor Sport.
