💸👁 Share of paid subscribers increases in Russia
Research by ICMR showed a significant increase in the share of paid subscribers of Russian online cinemas in Q3 2025: their number grew from 39% to 41% among city residents.
Analysts attribute the growth to seasonality, as the start of autumn traditionally favors major premieres. The overall share of city residents using online cinemas remains stable at 52%.
Kinopoisk maintains absolute leadership in the total number of subscribers (24% of city residents) and paying users. The platform’s share of paying subscribers grew to 20%—a record high for a single service in the history of ICMR observations.
