📺 Series strengthen position on TV
Based on the results for January–September 2025, Russian interest in entertainment TV programs slightly decreased, while series continue to increase their contribution to the structure of TV viewing.
According to Mediascope data (Russia 0+, all 4+), during the past period:
🔸Series increased their share of TV viewing to 29%.
🔸Entertainment programs saw their share shrink from 18% to 17%.
🔸News also lost 1 percentage point—from 14% to 13%.
🔸The share of films (12%), socio-political programs (11%), and other genres remained almost unchanged.
Market participants note that overall TV viewing has plateaued, and no sharp changes in audience preferences are expected in the near future.
Reasons for Stabilization:
✔️ Audience Crossover. Viewers often watch the same projects first online and then on TV.
✔️ Lack of Major News Events. Currently, there are no political events that could spur the consumption of news and socio-political programs.
