📺 Russian-Branded TVs surpass Chinese brands in popularity

According to the results of the first three quarters of 2025, televisions sold under the Private Labels (PLs) of Russian retailers have taken first place in popularity among Russians, capturing 21% of the market (according to data from M.Video).

In total, approximately 4.7 million TVs worth 141 billion rubles were sold over the nine months. The average price increased by only 2% and amounted to 30.1 thousand rubles.

The top five leaders by the number of units sold are:

🔸Retailer PLs: 21%
🔸Haier: 15%
🔸Xiaomi: 9%
🔸Hisense: 8%
🔸TCL: 7%

However, Russians prefer PL TVs with foreign operating systems. The most popular OS remains Android TV (45% of sales), followed by YaOS from Yandex (16%).

There is also a noted trend toward increasing screen size: 55” and 50” models combined account for 27% of the market, though 32” TVs (27%) remain the leaders in quantity.

Retailers note that buyers are increasingly choosing larger screens for comfortable viewing.
