⚽️ UEFA joins the ranks of anti-piracy fighters
The European football governing body UEFA has officially joined the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE)—the world’s largest anti-digital piracy coalition.
This marks the first exclusive rights holder of sports content to join ACE, representing a significant step in protecting sports broadcasts globally.
UEFA will actively participate in the ACE Live Tier program, which coordinates efforts to combat real-time sports piracy. The Alliance, which unites over 50 major media companies, is strengthening its position in the fight against illegal operations by collaborating with law enforcement agencies.
Guy-Laurent Epstein (UEFA) stated that the partnership will expand enforcement capabilities and allow the use of ACE’s proven methods to shut down illegal services.
Charles Rivkin (Chairman of ACE) emphasized that UEFA’s membership will strengthen the Alliance’s ability to protect sports content from malicious actors in real-time.
