๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Disney+ Ad-Supported Tier Booms in France

Two years after its launch in France, the Disney+ streaming service has passed the 9.5 million subscriber mark. Notably, one out of every two users in the country chooses the ad-supported tier.

Two-thirds of the Disney+ audience is comprised of co-viewing, which is a key element of the platform’s success.

The average viewer age is 34 years old. Two-thirds of users fall into the most active demographic group of 25โ€“49 years old.

More than 300 brands have already utilized the platform’s advertising offering.

According to Renaud Guillemot, Vice President of Affiliate Sales, Content Sales & Advertising Sales at The Walt Disney Company France, the platform successfully navigated the end of its partnership with Canal+.

The growth in subscribers on the ad-supported tier continued thanks to the development of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sales and partnerships with major IPTV providers (Orange, Free, SFR, Bouygues).
