๐Ÿ“ˆ The Video Content Market to Reach $1 Trillion by 2030

According to Omdia reports, by 2030 the total global revenue from traditional TV and online video (including subscriptions, transactions, and advertising) will exceed $1 trillion.

All market growth is driven by online video, while pay-TV revenues remain stable.

In 2025, streaming revenues are expected to reach $214.6 billion, showing 12.8% year-over-year growth.

Subscriptions (SVoD) will remain the main source of revenue, accounting for 77% of total online video income in 2025.

Premium video advertising revenues (through hybrid, native AVoD, and FAST services) will grow by 15.6% compared to 2024, reaching $42.1 billion in 2025.

The role of advertising in streaming will continue to grow. By 2030, ad revenues from the โ€œBig Fiveโ€ U.S. SVoD platforms โ€” Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+/Hulu, HBO Max, and Paramount+ โ€” will account for 20% of their total income (up from 13% in 2025).
