📺 LG Demonstrates Resilience

LG Electronics has published its consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2025. Total revenue decreased by 1.4% to KRW 21.87 trillion, while operating profit reached KRW 688.9 billion.

The Media Entertainment Solution (TV) division recorded revenue of KRW 4.65 trillion and an operating loss of KRW 302.6 billion.

Profitability was affected by increased marketing investments amid intensifying competition and one-off expenses related to voluntary employee departures.

LG plans to improve efficiency in its TV business, expand the webOS platform through advertising and content, and strengthen its presence in Global South markets.

At the same time, two key divisions showed growth: Vehicle Solutions (VS) and Home Appliance & Air Solution (HS) delivered stable results. In the B2B segment, revenue rose 2% year-over-year, reaching KRW 5.9 trillion.

Subscription-based home appliance services revenue grew by 31% compared to the previous year, totaling KRW 700 billion.
