⚽️ Russian Premier League to Launch UHD Broadcasts by 2030
The Russian Premier League (RPL) has adopted a development strategy through 2030.
Key Technological Priorities:
🖥 Ultra HD Broadcasts. The RPL plans to co-produce content with the main broadcaster to enhance broadcast quality, including the Ultra HD format, and improve TV ratings.
🌐 Unified Digital Space. A “unified digital space” and new services for fans will be created to increase the audience.
🗄 Systematized Archive. The League will develop a complete archive that will include all documents, statistics, analytics, and video materials.
👁 VAR Improvement. The strategy includes joint work with the Russian Football Union (RFU) to improve and develop the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system.
The strategy was officially presented on November 5 at the “Russia — Sporting Nation” forum.
