🧩 KinoPoisk Transforms into a Platform

The online cinema KinoPoisk is evolving into a full-fledged platform, introducing a cross-streaming recommendation feature that will include content from third-party services and TV channels.

Users will be able to select which platforms (such as Ivi, Kion, and others) they want to see content from in their recommendations. Starting in December 2025, Kion subscriptions will be available for purchase directly through KinoPoisk.

Dedicated pages for major TV channels — including Channel One and TNT — have already launched, with Smotrim and NTV to follow soon.

KinoPoisk is also introducing verified profiles for public figures (such as Alexander Ovechkin and Leon Kemstach), allowing them to share their film ratings and reviews.

Two new AI-powered features based on Alice AI have been announced:

“Personal Review”, generating tailored film impressions, and

“Personal Argument”, offering individualized content descriptions.

Marketing Director Vladimir Chernykh explained that the goal is to help people “find movies easily.” This move reflects growing user behavior — 43% of viewers are interested in content from other streaming services — and intensifying market competition.
