🐌 Russian Advertising Market Slows Down

According to AKAR experts, the volume of the Russian advertising market for January–September 2025 reached ₽680–685 billion, up 8% compared to the same period in 2024.

The market has shown steady growth for eleven consecutive quarters, but the pace is slowing — from +11% in Q1 to +7% in Q3. Analysts attribute the slowdown to the overall deceleration of the country’s GDP growth.

Market breakdown:
▪️ Digital remains the leader, accounting for 53% (₽361–363 billion);
▪️ Video advertising holds 30% (₽205–207 billion);
▪️ Out-of-home (OOH) makes up 12% (₽80.4–81.4 billion).

OOH advertising showed the strongest growth at +12%, with digital OOH media up 24%, while traditional formats declined.

The regional advertising market (excluding Moscow) grew by 2%, reaching almost ₽93 billion.
