📉 TV Sales Decline in Russia

According to OCS data, TV sales in Russia fell by 10% in unit terms from January to September 2025. In Q3 alone, the decline accelerated to 15%.

Key reasons for the downturn:

✔️ Lack of innovation: Russians typically replace their TV only when the old one breaks, as there are no “breakthrough engineering solutions” driving upgrades.
✔️ Real estate market slump: High mortgage rates and a 26% drop in new-build housing sales have led consumers to postpone renovations, directly impacting demand for TVs.

Analysts forecast that total TV sales will fall by around 15% by the end of 2025. The outlook for 2026 will depend on improvements in the broader economy and the residential real estate market.
