🇰🇷 Korean Content Conquers U.S. Streaming

According to data from Omdia, the U.S. media market remains the largest in the world, generating 39% of global revenue ($430 billion out of $1.1 trillion).

The U.S. also dominates the streaming landscape, accounting for 80% of the global FAST market (free ad-supported TV).

At the same time, Korean content has been recognized as the most popular non-English-language content worldwide, consistently landing in Netflix’s global top 10.

Analysts highlight a strong synergy: since the U.S. is the largest FAST market and Korean content is the most in-demand non-English product, their combination creates a “multi-billion-dollar opportunity.”

Korean FAST channels have both the audience and the potential to secure strong positions in the U.S. market.
