🧠 AI Is Rewriting the Rules
Deloitte has published a report describing AI as the primary driver of change in technology, media, and telecommunications.
By 2026, daily use of AI in search will be three times higher than that of standalone AI tools. Around 29% of users will receive AI-generated answer summaries instead of clicking traditional links.
The market for autonomous AI agents, which can replace current SaaS tools, is expected to reach $35 billion by 2030. By the end of 2026, up to 75% of companies may begin investing in this technology.
Demand for hardware is growing. The market for specialized inference chips (used to run AI models) will reach $50 billion by 2026, while the overall AI data-center chip market will hit $200 billion.
Streaming, social media, and storytelling are converging. Microdramas—short smartphone-first series—are watched by more than half a billion people, and their revenue is projected to grow to $7.8 billion by 2026. Video podcasts are also rising in popularity, becoming increasingly immersive.
