🟥 Kion to Change Its Name
The media holding MTS Media will be rebranded as ON Media starting December 2025. Company head Sofya Mitrofanova explained that the new name reflects the holding’s ambition to become a leader in the creative industry while maintaining its connection to parent company MTS.
Kion will be renamed “Kion” (in Russian spelling) to create a service “understandable for the widest possible audience.”
The MTS Music and Stroki services will merge with the streaming platform and become Kion Music and Kion Stroki, entering a unified media subscription priced at 399 rubles.
The production center MTS Live will become ON Show, and the content production unit will become ON Studio.
This is part of a broader rebranding of the entire MTS ecosystem, which will change its name to Erion by the end of the year.
According to company reports, the ecosystem divisions (the future Erion) already generate 41% of MTS’s revenue. Meanwhile, the media holding’s revenue for the first nine months of 2025 increased by 12.1%, reaching 6.9 billion rubles.
