🎞 MBG Uploaded Animation and Educational Content Catalogs to Mediabaza
Media Broadcasting Group (MBG), one of the major content and TV channel distributors in the pay-TV market, has expanded its partnership with the industry B2B media-market platform Mediabaza.
Operators and content aggregators now have access not only to MBG’s channel feeds but also to extensive VoD libraries featuring exclusive and premiere content.
Operators working through Mediabaza can also order channels distributed by MBG: the science-focused CuriosityStream, children’s channel Kids TV, and entertainment channel Extreme.
A key development is the addition of a large volume of educational films and MBG’s animation projects to Mediabaza. This will enable operators and online platforms to flexibly expand their media libraries.
Mediabaza now features the CuriosityStream library — the globally renowned brand founded by Discovery creator John Hendricks. The collection includes award-winning educational films and series, wildlife and nature films, many of which are original non-fiction projects. This offers operators and broadcasters the ability to build themed VoD collections and enrich channel programming with content across various topical genres (science, history, nature and animals, lifestyle, technology). Among the featured programs are Stephen Hawking’s Favorite Places, The Secret Life of Big Cats, Planet of Insects, and Birth of the Solar System.
MBG has also uploaded a selection of animated projects from world-famous studios. This collection allows audiovisual services and TV channels to quickly and effectively enhance their children’s VoD sections and channel offerings with popular titles such as Larva, Dinoformers, Ella, Oscar & Hoo, and others.
“Uploading our VoD libraries to Mediabaza is a logical step in the development of our partnership. The platform is a tool for facilitating business connections between distributors and buyers. Its goal is to help both sides find each other and enrich their projects with exclusive materials from our extensive portfolio, which includes animation, educational programs, and documentaries. In addition, we have uploaded content with the broadest rights package, allowing it to be acquired both by TV channels and VoD services,” said Irina Davydenko, Business Development Director at Media Broadcasting Group.
“We see growing demand for high-quality, themed VoD content that can be integrated into existing services. Adding MBG’s libraries significantly strengthens our offering. It simplifies the licensing process and enables our partners to respond quickly to audience needs,” noted Grigory Kuzin, Director of the MSK-IX media platform.
