🎯 Mediabaza Presented Solutions for Accelerating Media Distribution and Compliance
At the international television and digital content market World Content Market 2025 (WCM 2025), MSK-IX Media Platforms Director Grigory Kuzin and Mediabaza Platform Administrator Dmitry Rassadin delivered a presentation titled “B2B Content Marketplace – Deals, Storage, Localization.”
They focused on the practical application of the industrial B2B platform Mediabaza for optimizing processes in the media industry.
The speakers noted that Mediabaza’s key focus is on creating a unified digital framework connecting rights, materials, and localization — enabling a radical reduction of the time between signing a deal and releasing content on VoD platforms, TV, or in cinemas.
“Our goal is to replace the chaos of emails and Excel sheets between content creators, distributors, and service companies with a single digital framework — from the content card to signal delivery,” emphasized Grigory Kuzin, speaking about the ongoing transformation of industry processes.
The presentation detailed the platform’s architecture, designed to transform content into a manageable digital asset. At its core is the Content Card, which serves as a unified industrial ID for a media product, consolidating comprehensive information — from editorial descriptions and technical parameters to legal restrictions.
The integrated storage solution, Mediabaza Disk, is a cloud service where master files and content versions are automatically linked to their corresponding cards. The third component is the Service Portal, which allows industry participants to connect all necessary services at the distribution stage — from AI translation and subtitling to dubbing and playout.
The speakers placed particular emphasis on features aimed at improving efficiency and reducing legal risks. The platform incorporates the Compliance-by-Design concept, which includes automatic AI-based content checks for compliance with local legislation and the generation of reports with timecodes for potentially sensitive fragments.
Dmitry Rassadin demonstrated the platform’s practical advantages for industry participants. He noted that a mass-ordering procedure has been introduced for buyers such as operators and OTT platforms.
“This saves hours and even days of correspondence and approvals, especially when dealing with dozens of channels and large packages for new platforms or new regions,” Rassadin explained.
Interaction between partners takes place within the digital Deals framework, which provides a transparent registry of requests and communications.
In conclusion, the speakers announced the platform’s development trajectory, which includes deeper integration of AI services and transforming Mediabaza into a CRM system for content — designed to ensure maximum aggregation and process unification for all players in the media industry.
