Telegram founder Pavel Durov has announced the launch of Cocoon (Confidential Compute Open Network) — a decentralized confidential computing network built on the TON blockchain.
The platform already processes user requests to artificial intelligence with guaranteed full privacy, addressing the high cost and low confidentiality issues typical of centralized providers (such as Amazon and Microsoft).
With Cocoon, GPU miners can earn rewards in Toncoin cryptocurrency.
Users and developers gain access to powerful AI capabilities with guaranteed data protection.
The project’s official website, documentation, and source code are already available. Durov plans to expand the pool of available GPUs in the coming weeks to meet growing demand from developers.
