🥇 Spain Leads Europe in FAST Services
According to Omdia, Spain has become the European leader in the FAST TV market — 35% of the adult population uses FAST services monthly. Spain surpasses the United Kingdom (26%), Germany (25%), and France (17%).
Global FAST market revenue is expected to grow from $6 billion in 2025 to $11 billion by 2030. FAST revenue in Spain is forecast to increase from $32 million in 2025 to $65 million by 2030.
Market growth is driven by investments from major platforms (Roku Channels, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV) and high consumer demand for free and accessible content.
“FAST has become a compelling alternative for viewers seeking high-quality entertainment without a subscription, and Spain’s high level of adoption demonstrates the strength of this model,”
said Omdia’s head of tracking, Maria Rua Aguete.
Analysts emphasize that although YouTubers and creators are launching content on FAST channels, this does not automatically make them “television.”
