🏆 Norway Sets a Scandinavian Record

80% of Norwegian households now have at least one paid subscription, marking the highest rate in Scandinavia.

Average monthly spending on video services in Norway has reached a new record — over NOK 670 (≈ $63 / €56.8) per month, up 10% year-on-year and also the highest level in the region.

Mediavision’s chief analyst Fredrik Liljequist noted that such high penetration indicates a consistently strong willingness to pay for streaming, despite price increases across many platforms throughout the year.

Analysts expect subscription growth to slow in the near future, intensifying competition for existing consumer spending.
