π SpaceX Sets Two Records in 24 Hours
On December 7, SpaceX achieved two new milestones at once, demonstrating remarkable progress in reusable launch technology.
π
Record #1 β Reuse milestone
A Falcon 9 booster successfully completed its 32nd flight during a Starlink deployment mission from Cape Canaveral.
This brings SpaceX closer to its current target of certifying Falcon boosters for 40 flights each. Earlier company goals rose gradually β first 5, then 10, then 20 missions.
π
Record #2 β Satellite launch milestone
The same mission delivered the 3,000th Starlink satellite launched in 2025 β even though the year is not yet over.
The day before, another Falcon 9 completed its 12th flight from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, successfully landing on a droneship in the Pacific.
As of now, the Starlink megaconstellation includes over 9,100 operational satellites.
