๐ SMPTE, EBU, and ETC Update AI Report
The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), in collaboration with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Entertainment Technology Center (ETC), has published an updated technical report on the impact of AI on the media industry.
The document is the result of work by the AI Standards Task Force, launched in 2020.
The reportโs key objectives are to:

The new edition reflects the rapid evolution of the AI landscape and includes updates such as:

๐น the growth of open-source AI;
๐น the emergence of new frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001.
