🎄 VK Video Summarizes Its 2025 Results
The VK Video platform shared its 2025 results, highlighting strong growth and new records.
Daily active users (DAU) exceeded 40 million in early December, while monthly active users (MAU) reached 77 million by year-end. The app has been installed more than 91 million times.
The number of content creators doubled to 331,000 authors. Over the year, more than 4.16 million videos were uploaded.
The most popular categories by reach were: humor, movies/TV series, news/politics, children’s content, and cars/transport.
The “News and Politics” category led in engagement, generating 517.6 million comments.
Nikolai Duksin, Vice President for Music and Video Services, said:
“Recommendations remain the key focus of VK Video’s development — they help viewers find interesting content faster and creators find their audience. Even today, new technologies have increased the accuracy of matching similar videos by 60%.”
