The TV channel Rossiya 1 has retained its status as the country’s most popular channel for the tenth consecutive year. According to Mediascope data, by the end of 2025 the channel once again ranked first, maintaining an audience share of 14%.
Top 5 TV channels:
1️⃣ Rossiya 1: audience of 2.5 million viewers. Its leadership has remained unchallenged since 2016.
2️⃣ NTV: a solid second place with a 9.5% share (1.7 million viewers).
3️⃣ Channel One returned to the top three, overtaking competitors. Despite a slight decline in share to 7.1%, the channel retains 1.3 million viewers.
4️⃣ Channel Five dropped to fourth place (6.9% share).
5️⃣ REN TV rounds out the top five with a reach of 1.2 million viewers.
The top ten also included Domashny, STS, TNT, TV Center, and the children’s channel Karusel. Despite the growth of streaming services, traditional television continues to maintain a loyal audience numbering in the millions.
