TNT Beats STS for the First Time in 5 Years

The TV battle for young and family audiences in 2025 ended with a win for TNT.

According to Mediascope data, the channel overtook its main competitor STS for the first time in five years among key target demographics.

Key Audience Shares:

📌 Ages 14-44: TNT reached 8.6% share (up 0.8 percentage points), while STS had 7%.
📌 Ages 10-45: TNT at 8.2%, STS at 7.3%.

Experts attribute TNT’s success to an aggressive grid refresh: a focus on large-scale reality shows, original series, and weekend movies. STS, having lost Hollywood content, leaned into family humor. While new shows like Khimki Witches delivered solid ratings, it wasn’t enough to hold the lead.

Both channels remain top picks for advertisers due to their strong reach.
