"Zootopia 2" – New King of Animation
Disney's sequel has officially become the highest-grossing animated film in history, surpassing recent leader Inside Out 2.
To date, Zootopia 2 has earned an incredible $1.703 billion at the box office, placing it 9th on the all-time highest-grossing films list.
The film is breaking records left and right:
🏅$619 million in China – the best result for Western animation;
🏅 Fastest animated film to reach the $1 billion milestone.
The top three spots in the global animation rankings are all Disney projects: Zootopia 2, Inside Out 2, and Frozen 2.
Audiences are ecstatic: Rotten Tomatoes holds steady at 96%, with a CinemaScore of “A”. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde have once again proven their story is a true global phenomenon.
