๐ค BBC Reveals Details of YouTube Partnership
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has officially confirmed the start of a strategic partnership with YouTube.
The deal aims to make the broadcaster’s content accessible to the widest and youngest global audience.
New programs will premiere on YouTube simultaneously with releases on BBC’s own platforms (iPlayer and Sounds).
Content will be adapted for internet user habits while maintaining BBC quality standards.
A major training program launches for 150 media professionals and bloggers across the UK under the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
BBC Director-General Tim Davie called the partnership “breakthrough,” noting it will bridge traditional TV and the global creator economy. YouTube sees it as a chance to strengthen British content’s cultural influence worldwide.
