๐Ÿ“ฑ Netflix Goes TikTok-Style

Following Disney+, Netflix has confirmed the launch of a vertical video feed.

Co-CEO Greg Peters revealed that the service has been testing this format in its mobile app for six months and plans a major rollout in 2026.

What’s coming to the new feed:

โœ… Short, vibrant clips from Netflix films and series for quick previews;
โœ… Video podcasts โ€“ the company’s new priority. The first major project will be Gary Lineker’s The Rest Is Football show, exclusively timed for the 2026 World Cup;
โœ… Complete mobile interface overhaul to match modern content consumption patterns.

Co-CEO Ted Sarandos noted that the boundaries between TV and social media have completely blurred. Competition with YouTube, TikTok, and other social video platforms forces streaming services to adopt their formats to hold users’ attention, who are accustomed to endless smartphone scrolling.
