The film My Taiga Holidays became the first Russian film project to attract post-production investments through digital financial assets (DFAs).

On the Tokeon platform, over 20 investors contributed around 5 million rubles to complete filming.โ€‹

The funds will go toward complex CGI graphics and animal animation โ€“ an innovative solution for regional cinema.โ€‹

In addition to returns, participants’ names will appear in the credits, and they’ll receive exclusive merchandise.โ€‹

Alexander Lukin’s film tells the story of a boy’s adventures in the taiga. The visuals combine on-location shooting in Yakutia and Moscow with computer graphics elements.โ€‹

The premiere is scheduled for spring 2026. The fundraising success coincides with the rise of Yakut cinema: in 2025, its box office doubled to 280 million rubles.
