🎶 AI Music Takes Over Charts
Russian music platforms are experiencing a genuine AI content boom. Tracks created by neural networks are no longer just coexisting with works by living artists—they're pushing them out of the charts.
Yandex Music, VK, and other services have already launched dedicated AI music playlists.
The composition Tell Me, Snegurochka by AI project Sasha Komovich became the leader of holiday programming. Jeny Vesna project’s song Inner Voice has firmly established itself in the tops of several platforms at once.
Industry experts estimate that up to 20% of new uploads to streaming services are content created entirely or partially using AI.
The problem is that recommendation algorithms don’t distinguish between neural networks and humans—they’re guided solely by listener preferences. The music community is already sounding the alarm: “digital” artists are taking revenue from real creators, which could eventually harm the creative economy.
