πŸ†• MBG Unveils February Premieres

Media Broadcasting Group (MBG) has announced its February 2026 premiere schedule.

Updates affect three thematic channels: Kids TV, CuriosityStream, and Extreme, available for operators and OTT services via the industry platform Mediabase.

πŸ‘§πŸ”¬ Animation and Educational Projects

Kids TV’s February lineup adds the exclusive animated series Woollywood. This heartwarming show follows knitted toys playfully exploring their woolen world, with adventures born from children’s imagination. Heroes tackle puzzles and challenges using creativity and their knitting skills. The series celebrates the power of fantasy and joy found in small things.

CuriosityStream presents two major premieres. Early in the month, the cycle In the Hour of Desperation launches – a detailed exploration of major natural and technological disasters. On February 24, viewers will see the premiere of Otter’s Daily Life, dedicated to wildlife in nature.

πŸŒ‹πŸ• Extreme Sports and Russian Expeditions

Extreme channel’s main premiere is the documentary project Height Gene 2. The Mountain of All Mountains. The film chronicles Russia’s most ambitious K2 (Chogori) expedition – one of the world’s most dangerous peaks – led by renowned alpinist Alexander Abramov. Classic Eastern cinema Iron Monkey will also air.

πŸ’¬ MSK-IX media platforms director Grigory Kuzin emphasizes the importance of regular niche content updates for subscriber retention: “Operators today critically need access to exclusive premiere content that differentiates them from competitors. MBG’s thematic channels serve diverse audiences – from children to documentary and sports enthusiasts. Placing these new releases on Mediabase lets operators instantly respond to demand shifts and rapidly refresh their libraries with relevant projects.”
