📊 Premier Breaks New Records

Online cinema Premier (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) has released its 2025 results.

The platform showed remarkable growth: revenue increased by 70%, up from 54% a year earlier, while the number of subscribers reached 7.2 million.

The service focused on partnerships and licensing deals. For example, the series Overheard in Rybinsk recouped its costs even before its premiere thanks to a distribution agreement with Start.

The comedy Oldschool exceeded 30 million views, surpassing even the cult hit Peace! Friendship! Bubblegum!.

In 2025, Premier and Rutube began merging into a unified digital ecosystem, giving access to an audience of 85 million users.

Total viewing time grew by 18%. Notably, 90% of subscribers prefer Russian series, with Smart TV remaining the leading viewing platform.

According to Sergey Kosinsky, Head of Digital Assets at Gazprom-Media Holding, the synergy between the two teams will make it possible to produce even more cross-format content around Premier’s original projects.
