Holiday Content Collections for February 23 and March 8 Now Available on Mediabaza

The B2B media platform Mediabaza has unveiled updated collections of feature films, TV series, and documentaries ahead of the upcoming holidays.

The new selections are designed to help broadcasters and online services plan their festive programming and refresh their VoD catalogs.

🕺 Men’s Programming for Defender of the Fatherland Day (February 23)

As part of preparations for the holiday, the platform now features an extensive package of documentary and narrative projects. Belteleradiocompany has presented several documentary cycles, including Little Heroes of a Great War, Partisan Frontier, and Brest. Heroes of the Outpost, all dedicated to the stories of participants in the Great Patriotic War.

A major premiere for the Russian market is the war drama Survive and Reach (produced by VSV Studio). The film tells the story of a rescue mission led by partisan commander Matryona Volskaya.

Male audiences may also enjoy titles from Kazakhstan’s Movie Service, including the historical epic Dawn of the Great Steppe—about the formation of the Kazakh Khanate—and the contemporary action dramas The Sixth Post and Kazbat, both based on real historical events.

💃🏻 Asian Dramas and Lifestyle Shows for International Women’s Day (March 8)

The March 8 collection focuses on some of the fastest‑growing segments of the market. A significant portion of the package features South Korean and Chinese dramas such as Chunhwa’s Love Story, Drunken Romance, and Journey to Love, aimed at attracting loyal fans of Asian series.

For the first time, Klyuch TV has contributed its own projects to Mediabaza. Its lifestyle lineup includes culinary programs Around Taste and Around Taste: Battle of Millionaires, as well as the entertainment show Capsule, which helps viewers prepare festive menus and choose the perfect wardrobe.

To meet audience demand for nostalgic content, the collection also includes classic Brazilian telenovela hits such as the Simple Maria remake, Family Ties, and Brazil Avenue, all of which remain popular with mass audiences.

💬 “Curated thematic collections respond to the market’s need for faster programming cycles. During peak seasons, broadcasters need high‑quality, ready‑to‑air content across genres—from documentaries to popular romantic comedies. Our goal is to aggregate the best titles from rights holders, helping operators, broadcasters, and streaming platforms move efficiently from concept selection to rights licensing,” said Grigory Kuzin, Director of the MSK‑IX media platform.
