▶️ YouTube Deletes Channels with Millions of Subscribers

YouTube has launched a large‑scale crackdown on so‑called “AI slop” — low‑quality content generated entirely by artificial intelligence to inflate views.

According to a report by Kapwing, even million‑subscriber accounts were caught in the sweep.

Among those removed was Cuentos Facianantes, the most popular AI‑generated channel, boasting 5.9 million subscribers and 1.2 billion views, known for churning out crude Dragon Ball‑themed videos. Another deleted account was Imperio de Jesus, which had 5.8 million subscribers and featured AI‑generated interactive quizzes about faith. In total, more than 16 channels, including Super Cat League — which billed itself as “the world’s #1 AI cinema for cats” — either wiped all videos or were permanently suspended.

At the same time, YouTube continues to support “legitimate” AI creation: tools for producing Shorts and authorized AI deepfakes of creators themselves remain a priority.

The platform is clearly drawing a line between AI used as a creative tool and a soulless factory of junk traffic.
